Where it all began

With a travel box of basic hand tools, a small 10×18 storage unit, and a single reliable pickup truck, Edge Machine Services first began servicing the manufacturing community in September of 2013.

Our start was humble and our goal was simple; provide our local manufacturing community access to QUALITY workmanship, RELIABLE support, & FAST service.
In 2014, we began providing customers access to optional equipment chip blasters, high pressure coolant systems, Renishaw probing, add-ons and existing equipment. With our technical background and years of manufacturing experience, customers soon began relying on us to help with their next machine tool investments, growing our business into SUMMIT and KAAST machine tool sales.
Fast forward to January 2015 where we moved our business into a 5,000 sq.ft. building. With the newly expanded shop, we were now able to refurbish machines and repair smaller assemblies such as spindles, tool changers, and pallet changers, or bring gearboxes, spindles, and small machines in-house to complete component repair and reconditioning.

Who is on the team?

With over 30 years of CNC Industry service experience, our skilled trained technicians have worked with major companies like JTEKT Americas (formerly Toyoda), ATS, and Crotts and Saunders. Our team has an extensive knowledge base of Fanuc controls and programming including experience with Mitsubishi, Siemens, Heidenhain, and several other controllers. EMS service engineers proudly have experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo systems, tuning, PLC and ladder programming, G-code, macro programming, and so much more.
