Since the early 1950’S, Summit Machine Tools has been providing customers with solutions they can count on; delivering quality machine tools, spare parts and superior service to the world’s largest manufacturers and most innovative machine shops. Ruggedly built for the most demanding applications, many Summit products are USA-designed and manufactured in Europe. Summit takes pride in providing its customers the most machines for their money.

    PORTASOLUTIONS

Founded in 1958, PORTASOLUTIONS originally built its reputation by manufacturing high-output Transfer machines to satisfy a market hungry for mass production. However, as global manufacturing trends evolved, the rigid demands of mass production shifted. Recognizing the need for a solution that perfectly bridges the gap between mass-production speed and small-batch flexibility, PORTASOLUTIONS pioneered the PORTACENTER, the industry’s very first machining center utilizing three independent spindles.

    The PORTACENTER Advantage

The hallmark innovation of PORTASOLUTIONS is its 3-independent-spindle system. Operating under the principle of “1 Process, 3 Times Faster,” a single PORTACENTER delivers the output of three to four standard, single-spindle machining centers. By condensing this productivity into one footprint, manufacturers can:

    • Slash Operating Costs: Drastically lower energy consumption, reduce human resource requirements, and eliminate the need for complex, multi-robot automation.
    • Optimize Floor Space: Reclaim valuable manufacturing real estate by replacing multiple machines with one compact unit.
    • Enhance Material Flexibility: Achieve top-tier milling, metal chip removal, and machining operations across brass, steel, cast iron, and aluminum.
    • Minimize Downtime: Transition between setups effortlessly with ultra-fast changeovers completed in just 15 minutes.

    PRO 200 (3-Spindle, ISO40)

    • Engineered to be reliable, straightforward, and highly accessible, the PRO 200 is the ideal choice for small to medium-sized businesses looking to elevate their standard production. It features a compact 200mm cube working area, making it a dependable workhorse for everyday manufacturing needs.

    EVO 300 (3-Spindle, ISO40/HSK63)

    • Designed for complex and intricate machining operations, the EVO 300 brings enhanced power and capability to the factory floor. Operating within a 300mm cube working area, it incorporates advanced features…such as automated CNC tool changing to deliver maximum flexibility for high-mix production.

    PORTACENTER 400 & HYPER 400 (3-Spindle HSK63)

    • Built to handle larger components within a 400mm cube working area, the 400 series represents the pinnacle of PORTASOLUTIONS engineering. The HYPER 400 configuration is built for extreme performance, boasting blistering spindle speeds of up to 13,000 RPM, rapid traverse speeds up to 50 m/min, and lightning-fast tool changes executed in a mere 1 second.

    PORTACENTER 500 (3-Spindle, ISO50/HSK100)

    • For the largest and most demanding applications, the 500 series expands the envelope to a generous 500mm working cube. Equipped with robust ISO50 or HSK100 heavy-duty spindles, this CNC Machining Center delivers massive chip-removal capabilities with up to 33 kW of raw power at the spindle, making light work of the toughest materials.

    Sala srl

Sala srl has been a premier manufacturer of high-precision machine tools and multi-spindle lathes for over seven decades. The company was founded in 1950 as a specialized mechanical design studio. By the 1980s, Sala evolved from a design firm into an industry-leading manufacturer, cementing its reputation in the global precision turning market through continuous technological advancement and robust quality control systems.

Sala srl stands out in the machine tool sector due to its capacity for deep, in-house technical innovation. Rather than relying on external designs, Sala’s engineering team completely manages the mechanical and electronic development of every machine using advanced proprietary software allowing them to offer highly tailored, custom manufacturing setups alongside their standardized machinery.

    Linear Transfer for Balls

    • Specifically designed for the flawless production of spherical components, Sala’s linear ball transfer machines deliver extreme accuracy and reliability across multiple industries. These high-performance systems feature advanced CNC multi-axis layouts to streamline manufacturing, slash scrap rates, and optimize production efficiency.

Diamond Tooling Machines for the Gas Sector

    • Engineered to adhere to strict international industry safety and compliance standards, this lineup delivers super-precision turning and diamond-grinding for companies managing gas transport, control, and regulation systems. These robust machines guarantee perfectly finished surfaces and exceptionally tight tolerances to improve the field durability and sealing performance of critical components.

    Linea Spindle (CNC Linear Multi-Spindle)

    • The Linea Spindle line represents a revolution in the industry as the only mass-produced, standard-configuration CNC linear multi-spindle system built entirely on the principles of Lean Manufacturing. Featuring opposing vertical spindles, it allows machine shops to transition away from bulky, single-purpose machinery and shift toward high-flexibility, low-volume, multi-part families. By utilizing pre-cut bar sections rather than traditional long bar bundles, it eliminates the need for massive bar feeders, slashing the machine’s workshop footprint and minimizing raw material scrap.
